Summer Camp Packing List (also, no electronics please)
Troop 73 Campouts
Troop 73 does many of its own short campouts throughout the year. Typically, we leave on a Friday evening and return on Sunday around lunchtime. Here is an example packing list for these campouts.
Typical Troop 73 Weekend Campout Packing List
Signed Medical Form, Parts A and B
Sleeping Bag
Pad or plastic ground cloth for under sleeping bag
Pillow (optional)
Class A uniform shirt
Pocket knife and Totin’ Chip (if applicable)
Flashlight with extra batteries
Scout Handbook
Notebook with pencils/pens
Water Bottle
Insect Repellent and Sun Screen, if needed
Appropriate clothing for the weather:
Class B or other t-shirts/shirts
Jeans, pants, and/or shorts
Socks (pack extras)
2 pairs of shoes/hiking boots (no open-toed shoes)
Underwear
Sweatshirt or jacket
Rain poncho
Coat (if camping in cold weather)
Card games
Personal articles:
Comb/brush
Toothbrush, toothpaste
Soap Wash Cloth
Please label your belongings in case they are misplaced.
We ask that electronics are not brought to campouts.
