About Us
Weekly Troop Meetings
Troop 73 typically meets every Monday night at 7:00 in the social hall of Westminster Presbyterian Church, located at 1904 Mt. Vernon Street, Waynesboro, Virginia. Scouts attend these meetings in uniform, and work to lead each other in rank advancement, merit badge classes, program planning, community service, and recreational activities.
Campouts and Special Activities
Our Boy Scouts frequently camp and do a variety of activities, including fundraisers, community service projects, overnight lock-ins, and outings for merit badge work. These activities are listed on our troop calendar, with details distributed to scouts and families by email.
Our History
Troop 73's original charter dates back to 1964, with Westminster Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro, Virginia being its Chartered Organization from the onset. We are proud of the Scouts we have had as members over the years, some with their own sons continuing in their footsteps. Troop 73 is well respected among the area Boy Scout troops, and has grown significantly over recent years.
